Class of '66 Old Fart Posted Friday at 03:31 PM Posted Friday at 03:31 PM This morning - Illinois guard Kylan Boswell is going to be a game-time decision on Sunday against Indiana, per coach Brad Underwood, as he nears a return from his fractured hand. He’ll be unrestricted in practice, and whether he will play will come down to how he responds. Top 10 ranked Illinois (20-5) (11-3) is on a 2-game losing streak and would love to make it a 3-game losing streak but the Hoosiers will have to play a near perfect game. Shutting down Keaton Wagler will be a Herculean task. Averages 18.5 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 4.3 apg. Shoots 46% FG and 44% on 3s. The team averages 86 ppg with a +15 margin shooting 47% FG and 36% on 3s. They average 41 rbg with a +10 margin. Need to make shots; limit turnovers and stay out of foul trouble - so what else is new? Stealing a win would be HUGE! str8baller Posted Friday at 06:07 PM Posted Friday at 06:07 PM If ever there were a game where size bothered us, this would be it. Hardest game left on the schedule by efficiency metrics. Hate to be a moral victory guy, but even playing them down to the wire at their place would be a solid outcome for this squad. Hovadipo 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted Friday at 07:38 PM Posted Friday at 07:38 PM Yeah, not looking forward to this at all. More about how good they are than it is about us. I’ll be curious to see what the spread is when it comes out. Quote
Home Jersey Posted Friday at 08:45 PM Posted Friday at 08:45 PM DDV on Conerway: “We’ll just take it a game at a time and see what those rotations look like,” Darian DeVries said on Friday. “But as we head into it, we’ll stick with what we’ve been going with here recently and try to get him back involved as that happens. Then those minutes will be distributed based on kind of how we’re playing, how he’s playing, and we’ll just take it from there.” HoosierHoopster, Whoozhers, Hollywood Mike Miranda and 2 others 4 1 Quote

Illinois has a ton of size. The one saving grace is that they're not the most athletic team either. I agree, though...I don't expect a win...however, if Dorn, Devries and Wilkerson are knocking down 3s at a high clip, anything is possible. Artie86 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted Friday at 10:26 PM Author Posted Friday at 10:26 PM Jon Rothstein - Brad Underwood tells me that Andrej Stojakovic’s status for Illinois’ game on Sunday against Indiana is “TBD”. Stojakovic DNP earlier in the week against Wisconsin due to an ankle injury. Averages 13.7 PPG and 4.6 RPG. BannerVille 1 Quote

HoosierHoopster Posted Saturday at 02:28 PM Posted Saturday at 02:28 PM Most efficient offense in KenPom history? Ugh. This is a game where we have to be hitting on all cylinders from outside and playing as feisty as possible inside, their size is such a ridiculous advantage Demo 1 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Watching the game with an Illinois fan. So a win would be extra sweet. Although he’s not an annoying Illinois fan. He immediately gave IU football props after the win earlier in the year Quote

HoosierHoopster Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Hey mods - the pop up ads on the site are going crazy. I can't read this thread or several others on my mobile -- the pop-ups take up the entire screen and have no close button/x. Only affects mobile, doesn't matter which browser I run, has been going on a few days. 323SGrant, WayneFleekHoosier, Jeff Flabjohns and 1 other 3 1 Quote

I found that turning my phone on its side and clicking on the link for whatever reason helps. Definitely not ideal but that’s what I’m doing for now to get around it Jeff Flabjohns, Home Jersey, HoosierHoopster and 1 other 4 Quote

Otherwise it’s been two days of unskippable, full screen ads that never leave your screen Uspshoosier 1 Quote
