Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 This Vashon team wasn't exactly chopped liver. They won the last 6 state titles and this was Vashon's first loss in the final four since 1999. Vashon was 20-0 with 10 championships when making the final four since 2000. go iu bb, Hollywood Mike Miranda, Asha’man and 3 others 6 Quote

After taking care of perennial power Vashon yesterday, Logan-Rogersville took Clayton to the woodshed with a 72-36 pounding. Hopefully some game stats will surface. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 20 Author Posted April 20 Stats for Chase's AAU weekend. Don't overreact to how minimal his game stats were for his 4-point game as it was a garbage opponent. It was 63-39 after 3Qs and mercy ruled when it reached 71-46. Raby was there and said Chase's offense wasn't needed and he primarily served as a distributor. Key comment from Raby was that Chase seemed fully engaged throughout the game despite the inferior quality of the opponent and the scoring margin. The final game of the weekend was also a mercy rule ending. Raby was there for the entire weekend and made an interesting observation that in the 4/19 game Chase had 5 "hockey assists" in addition to the 1 he was officially credited with. Also, Raby reported that DDV was in Kansas City to watch at least one of his games. The next UAA event is May 15-17 in Cincinnati, OH. Looks like a possible McDAA and a kid that could help IU from the jump. That said, I’m way past taking much of Rabby’s player evals serious. He gets so biased with certain players and just often sounds like he’s making excuses for when they don’t play well. His evals and commentary on Lander, Cupps and Booker to name a few were borderline ridiculous if not embarrassing. And partly why I jumped off that site. If Trevor has things to say, I’m all ears. He is an evaluator. Rabjohns is a journalist. Anyway, looking forward to seeing more about Branham’s play this spring and summer. ALASKA HOOSIER, str8baller, Demo and 2 others 5 Quote

I'd add TJD to that list (not a major year 1 contributor according to Rabby). It's OK to be wrong sometimes, what bothered me about him was that he never owned up to it. MonteMarcaccini 1 Quote
