Hornsby Posted March 9, 2025 Posted March 9, 2025 Zero tolerance was Satan himself Myles Brands way of ousting Knight for BS grabbing that punks arm. But most importantly, moving Satan to his most cherished position and deservingly so, President of NCAA. He started the curse!Zero tolerance was his way of not pissing off the fanbase but setting knight up for failure. I was honestly fine with knight being fired before zero tolerance. I was ready to move on anyway at that point. I think many people can change but knight was one who never could have Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Sandman 1 Quote

It started a storm on this site (and others). I personally agree with you that I just don't see it having a chance of happening for the reasons you state if the administration themselves are willing to disregard his past, which I certainly hope they aren't. In that same discussion, the peegs guys also said their information is 2nd and 3rd hand and only a very small group of people know what's actually going on in the search. They aren't part of that group. If the process is still adding possible candidates to the list then they're either horrifically underprepared (not likely) or they're striking out on a lot of candidates before him (also not likely). I think its 'soft chatter', so soft it's nearly inaudible. Quote

From that, a rather large list of candidates is generated. Then they narrow the list. The smart way to do that is a blind pool, where you don't automatically rule out anyone. Then if the data analysis produces three very similar candidates, but one has character questions, then you eliminate them. HinnyHoosier 1 Quote

I can only see it if the administration feels it has no other choice. jonz44 1 Quote

Said IU has vetted Beard and his transgression that got him fired from Texas wasn’t even the first or even second time it has happened. Similarly related instances in prior relationships with a repeated pattern: booze and anger problems. He didn’t outright say Beard wasn’t a serious candidate but feel safe in drawing my own conclusions that he isn’t. You mean the time he beat and bit a woman so bad that the cops were called and he was arrested on a felony domestic assault charge wasn't the first time!? Shocking. I've been saying all along that there was no way this was the first time. It just doesn't start at that level, it escalates. RoadRage 1 Quote

All the haters on one side will point to the police report as proof. All the haters on the other side will point to the latest post as proof. Unfortunately, we live in a post-truth society where BS and what-aboutism reigns supreme. There is no point in debating or pontificating on this sh!t. Each tribe is going to pick their side and fight with the other tribe. Home Jersey 1 Quote
