After dropping their last two games, Purdue fans seem convinced that the only way anyone can beat them is due to some bizarre statistical anomaly. For example, today they pointed out that Wisconsin was 20 of 22 inside the arc and how unusual that is. The other night at Michigan, it was Trey Kaufman-Renn becoming the first player in 20 years to take at least 19 shots but not shoot a free throw.

So, what does our anomaly need to be? Carlyle making a shot? Galloway not missing a free throw? Woodson showing signs of life on the bench?

I think that this flawed but still fighting IU team should and will beat the dog piss out of Puredump.

There’s usually a stat thrown in that’s related to officiating, too.  Because we all know Purdue hasn’t actually committed a foul since 1981.

Andrew Catalon and Steve Lappas will be calling the game on CBS.

Someone might to want to give Lappas the official pronunciation guide.

I only picked IU to win by 2 in the contest, but I do agree we have a chance to win big in this game.  Purdue is not that talented.

I absolutely hate reliving the chair toss, but ...

Sunday's game will come on its 40th anniversary.

Same place. Same opponent.

Coincidence, or some stealth scheduling by CBS? Thinking they knew this and planned this, because for the past several years, we've played at home first, then at PU -- but this season, it's reversed.

And how soon into the broadcast before it's mentioned?

Indiana coach Bob Knight threw chair 36 years ago. I went to find it

Before tipoff ...won't get past Lappas.

Did RMK get many strikes when bowling?  That chair toss  picture is a classic.  He is in rare form.

Trivia question:  What referee got RMK's ire for bad calls that day?

POTFB

I want to say Ted Valentine since the two have history but I may not be right.
