I would take 5 Luke Goodes over some of these other guys.

He plays with heart. Can’t say as much for Rice .

I think I actually feel sorry for Goode. He seems to care. With his background it seems obvious he loves and really wanted to play for IU. This probably sucks for him as much as it does us.  If we have any luck at all, IU will get a good coach and Goode will find a way to get one more year.

Sadly, he's still the best point guard we have.  I assumed Rice would be a guy who could distribute the ball but he doesn't seem to have any interest in it.

Rice was fantastic at Washington State in pretty much every aspect of the game as a point guard except three point shooting.

Methinks Woody broke him.

So will IU spot the next few opponents with 10 or 12 points to start each game?

At the end of the games, will IU draw up a play with Miles Rice missing the last shot?

Did we hang on to Coach Woody just about 4 years too long?

Are we going to hang a banner in SSAH saying that about half of the games IU almost won and gave some effort?

Will our assistant coach AH wake up before the end of the season?  Will it make a difference?

    Nevermind.

I still think Rice plays at the next level, you see glimpses of greatness from him, I hope the next coach can get him back on track!

Yes to all of these. I will argue we have spot more than just 12 in most. Down 16 to michigan at half

Oh, I agree. That’s why it’s so maddening. He deserves to play but why his shot is so broken is unfathomable to me. I’ve said since last year we are at our best with him at point and not shooting.

End of games is a different story. I want him out there for his defense, decision making but you can’t trust him at the line. Really a conundrum that explains why our team loses about as much as it wins. Rice you can mostly trust at the line, and not trust much else. 4 years in we don’t have 1 complete guard. Not one.

How many game tying/winning shots are we going to draw up for Miles Rice to miss?

NBA teams rely heavily on the point guard creating their own shot or making a play for someone else in key situations.  Rice has not yet developed into that player.  Woodson is lost without a star go to player.

“I go back to the Northwestern game, the Maryland game, Purdue game, Michigan game — all winnable games. If you win one or two of them, you’re feeling good about yourself when you’re in close games. Nine out of 10 times, you make the plays that you need to make. The fact that we’ve lost them, guys are searching,” Woodson said after the game. “I’m searching as the coach in terms of trying to get them over the finish line.

Looks like "the hump" has morphed into "the finish line". What a freaking bozo.

You are putting it mildly my friend!  Losing all these close games comes down to coaching or lack there of!  He’s the worst coach in the B10 and it isn’t even close!  I think he’s bigger than a bozo, more like a freaking moron!

The board has been simmering with controversy since yesterday so in a sincere effort to calm things down I’d like to make a statement:

I liked the jerseys.

Ok, bye.

They looked like practice jerseys!

The ugliest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. They looked worse than Maryland's red uniforms.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that.  Mike Woodson probably picked them out, which is as bad as the players he picks too!

I'm not big on Adidas.

I agree!  Nike has better apparel.  I actually wish we would switch!

I like Nike they have better apparel and their uniforms and shoes are better. Plus we'd get to play in the Phil Knight tournament.
