Enright is a back-up 15mpg guy familiar with the system and someone to set the practice habits bar. If we march out a starting lineup with him in it, we hired the wrong coach. We cannot have what happened last year. Who we think would be good may not be who CDD thinks would fit. You know something that I gleaned from the "3 guys" podcast. DD had already formulated his off-season plan in terms of portal and knew in advance several players he was going to pursue long before the season had ended. That's interesting. To answer your question, I would be happy of course. But in college basketball the most important position on the court is PG and had he had Connor Enright instead of Javon Small I don't think they would've been as successful.
