RaceToTheTop Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 For the year Wisconsin has 47 blocked shots....have to say come postseason, they will have a steady flow of players rim running at them. lillurk 1 Quote

NET was 22 entering today and POM was also 22. 33rd best non-conference schedule and 5th best overall according to POM. Games left are Illinois, Rutgers, and at Purdue. Short of them losing all three I can't envision them out. So you’re saying there’s still hope…. Quote

Have you ever seen me and the guy Greg Gard was pissing in his little panties about/accusing of pulling the fire alarm in the same room? Didn’t think so! (All seriousness that was a little freaky considering what “alarms with no announcement” could mean these days. Maybe someone could toss Jeremy Gray a little info that he could pass along next time some dips**t pulls the fire alarm?) LIHoosier, Class of '66 Old Fart and HoosierHoopster 3 Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Is it true the fire alarm was pulled by an angry fan leaving early after we blew a 15 point lead? That's kind of funny and embarrassing at the same time. RoadRage 1 Quote
RoadRage Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 I don’t want to give CMW any excuse ideas, but it sure does make a difference when the refs let the players decide the outcome of a game instead of deciding it themselves! BGleas 1 Quote

At the under 12 timeout IU was up 4, so Wisconsin had not gotten all the way back from down 15 at that time. Quote

Yeah I noticed an alarm by us flashing wayyyyy before security started moving people to the exits. Still can’t believe there was zero mass communication inside the arena. Everyone from security to ushers to the scorer’s table folks were visibly confused. Home Jersey and FortWayneHoosier 2 Quote

I’ve thought that all year! I’ve seen too many times the refs dictate the outcome. Like that game where Purdue shot something like 38 more free throws than their opponent, I believe it was against NW. RoadRage 1 Quote

Had a buddy who was sitting on the floor text me and say it was a bomb threat. I laughed and said no it's not it's just a fire alarm. He said there was no communication down on the floor. Quote

They got everyone out pretty orderly and quickly which is a shock with how bad they were at telling people what was going on. The ushers weren't even around. All we had on our end was a security guy on the floor motioning everyone up the bleachers to the north exit. We took our time getting out because it was a traffic jam and I kept looking over at Jeremy Gray waiting on an announcement and he was just sitting there waiting for someone to tell him what was going on. So weird. FortWayneHoosier, HoosierHoopster, Class of '66 Old Fart and 2 others 5 Quote
