The biggest tell to me is that nobody from Athletic Dept has mentioned Woodson is safe. A lot of smoke going around, if it weren’t true people would be defending him publicly

The only on who thinks he is safe is Woodson himself.

So Buckner is appointed to his role on the BoT by the Governor. Then he can be removed by the Governor. If ppl feel inclined, call their state reps and start applying pressure to have QB recuse himself from any discussions that pertain to Mike Woodson.

Not sure it matters in the grand scheme of things... but it's another lightning rod... I've had several from the pro-Woodson camp (not on BTB) whinging about what a terrible thing it is - a disgrace, etc... pretty much the same sentiment about that petition that we're dishing here about Woodson's coaching, recruiting and management of the program ...

Will it change anything? Doubtful... 500 voices saying "send him packing" won't move the needle much...

And, yeah, I signed it, for what it's worth...

DD was ripping IU fans for creating this petition. He said IU fans should be above things like this but we are no better than teams like Memphis. He said IU needs to get back to being above stuff like this. We need get back to where IU was cocky and we knew we were better than other programs. We need to stop bowing down to recruits and tell them if you want to come to IU we have a spot but you only have a short time to commit.

Well, none of that is going to happen with our current staff. So shouldn't we want it changed?
