Just saw a news report that a middle-aged woman was removed by police from IU athletic offices.
They're not sure what her transgression was, but she could be heard screaming: "You can't do this now. This is just a visceral reaction. Wait six more weeks. Trust the process. Trust the process. Trust the process ..."

Ummm….anyone seen Kathy recently.

If the list Chris posted is correct here's how I'd rank them:

1. Stevens

2. Few

3. Pearl

4. May

I'd be absolutely floored by either of the first two. I have a hard time seeing someone leave the Celtics front office to coach college; his time away makes me think he may not be the sure thing he once was but he's shown he has a real mind for the game so he could very well figure it out.

I’m not getting my hopes up no matter what the rumor mill says.  I’ve been hurt before

Me too just patiently waiting and enjoying reading this wacky board. I love hearing all the rumors.

I watched the whole 13+ minutes of this and can't for the life of me figure out what Zach intended by doing this. Word salad is a kind interpretation.

His specialty, in fairness. He isn’t ever saying anything unless it’s spoon fed to him.

Both Few and Pearl's ages are a big drawback for me.I totally agree about Stevens and May.It would be nice to have a successful coach for 15 or 20 years for stability and not going through this madness again for a while.

If Few or Pearl wins like I think they would then the program would be in good shape for about 10 years; that'd be an improvement over what we've had recently.

Stevens would be my number 1 choice. I'm not as sold on May.

Granted I think the discussion is moot. I'm skeptical the next coach is any of those 4.

I hope IU can do better than this list.  Never heard of the site, but talk about underwhelming "replacements."

Spoiler alert:

Mick Cronin, John Groce, Steve Alford, Richard Pitino, and Ben McCollum are the list.  Surely IU hasn't fallen this far.  Side note:  I Googled "Mike Woodson replacement" and that is how I found this link.  Barf!!

I can’t waste my time reading a freaking article. I’m still 10 pages behind.

My check with Pearl is that his son is the coach in waiting at Auburn. I really can’t see Auburn honoring that agreement if Bruce bolts for Btown. I just don’t. And I’m doubtful that Dolson would consider such an arrangement.

As a coach, I’d love to have Bruce’s Pearl, I just see that great big roadblock.

The coach in waiting thing is part of why I put Pearl below Few.

Like I said, I think it's moot though; any of those names would surprise me.

The whole contemplating retiring thing is to try and make this look like he is going out on his own terms. If he wants to coach the rest of the season then he will. Now his desires may change after Saturday. And for my list of candidates:

1. Stevens (not gonna happen)

2. Beard

3. Pearl

4. Few

5. S. Drew

6. Calhoun

Woody finishing this mess of a season is so disappointing.

I guess we can get more locker room fights between players and coaches that result is ZERO extra fire on the court.

Disgusting basketball.

This type of **** is why he shouldn’t complete the season. Let Hunter finish it out and maybe the team will respect him and possibly make some resemblance of a run.

Good list but I would throw in Dusty too. Anyone of those coaches (sans Calhoun) is a fantastic upgrade and will have us title contenders.
