I’m not saying some racism doesn’t exist but it was never a reason people thought Woodson would fail from the beginning. Age, lack of experience, dated systems, etc, etc were concerns. Not race.

 

As far as why Woodson is getting more vitriol than Archie? Woodson offended the majority of the fanbase on Senior night. Created a burner army to fight fans online. Caused more divisiveness than I’ve ever seen from #iubb. Archie sucked. But he tried and understood he failed. Woodson spins his own narrative and they all believe the fanbase is racist and that why they (we) don’t like him.

 

I’m a merit based guy on everything. You win or you lose. You take accountability. If you aren’t good enough, you move along respectfully.

I just don't like Shaka because he reminds me of a rat for some reason.....nothing racial just his overall demeanor bothers me.....Sigh....I wish John Cheney was still around.....

Just not sure I understand what Dolson could do about the booing other than tell Woody to start winning and it will go away.....only a narcissist would go cry to the AD about booing and expect him to do anything.....I call BS on this.....

They wish to have Scott give a vote of confidence and are finding scapegoats when it occurs. Death threats are disgusting and yet not surprising. Sad state of today’s social media warriors from afar.

.....the stupidist thing I've ever heard! For one, ANY coach who seriously goes to his boss, the AD and basically "tells on the the fans" to not boo anymore is a next level low!

The AD's only answer has to be, "Well, make them stop yourself, start winning!"

 If Dolson is done with Coach Woodson, then he's definitely not going to do anything about it. There is NO WAY in H#LL you can call out fans to stop booing.....They will just boo more!

Woody makes $4M, Ballo makes $1.2M, Reneau makes $750K, Gallo makes $500K, and my understanding every other IU player makes at least $100K....sorry, you make that kind of jack and play or coach poorly, you are going to get booed. These are semi-pro teams now, I personally hate it, but it is here to stay.

Now that is a novel idea, that’s exactly what should happen but Woodson’s ego won’t allow him to do that, because in his delusional mind, he thinks he’s doing a good job!

Unfortunately but there needs to be some structure, salary based performance and a contract.

This is what's missing with the NIL! Too much money given to kids (and their family) with little accountability! These kids were given this money because of there talent, past resume'/performances and future potential. Once these kids get this money or benefits from it, many of them most likely don't know how to handle it/manage it while still trying to put a productive product on the floor every game.

Exactly, to coach at the D1 college level you have to have thick skin, we Woodson doesn’t!  He kind of acts like an entitled spoiled brat.  “Mommy make them stop calling names”!

Exactly and I think that is what happened to Galloway!  Maybe the need to take a money management class or behavioral class.  I thought the NBA does something like that for rookies but not sure

Holy hell we've all been going through this on here for awhile. I personally am entering the anxiety zone. Which I can handle, but at certain point it leads to chronic m*********n instead of meds. Also which I can obviously handle. It's just my coworkers and others who may be put off by this. So, for the sake of others someone please. HEAR SOMETHING!!
