The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

The staff has had a lot of problems with Tucker this season. Not showing up to things, being late, calling around to other schools for next season, and complaining all season about playing time. I would probably stay away from him

Maybe a headline "Fire Mike Woodson" above headshots of people he has allegedly wronged like Howard, Fife, etc. and short blurbs about his actions toward them. We could include some of our highlights of the various meltdowns around here as evidence that he is driving half the state of Indiana clinically insane and make the case that his immediate removal is a matter of public health and safety.

Is the process just letting go of Woodson? What is considered the starting of the process? Because if you believe that the process isn't going to start for 6 more weeks I don't know what to tell you

We will likely not "know" when the process started until there is a full background article probably from Osterman. That article will of course be the official narrative and everything will be above board in terms of when decisions were made, when so and so was contacted, etc. It will not speak to any back-channeling or activity prior to the "Official Process" because more often than not, that stuff isn't supposed to be in the news. The poster is simply giving their best guess in a definitive tone, as if they know, when they don't. They are guessing like the rest of us. Their guess is just that he will be removed at the end of the season. That's not a crazy guess. Hardly evidence they have any sort of information.

Yes for the purposes of my post, I was defining the start of the "official process" as when he gets fired as I'm pretty certain that was the intent of her post. Cathy has been steadfast in saying that MW won't be fired before the end of the season. Other posters have said that it is much more likely to happen during the season.

No it doesn't prove anything if he doesn't get fired til the end of the season, but it adds a lot more weight to what she has been saying. And she is taking an official position whereas others are hedging their bets saying things are fluid. That's not a knock on anyone else with info (please continue to post everything you hear), but she has planted a flag with an official prediction.

I quite honestly don't understand the vitriol towards her as it feels a lot like shooting the messenger. But if she's wrong, then by all means blast away.

They would most likely have to take a cut to play elsewhere... so, that part isn't even something about which we should be concerned.

But you don't mind how she talks to everyone else like were children and don't understand the process. Don't mind that the process hasn't worked in many years. 

He might not be fired till March 11 which is 6 weeks from today. But I believe the process has started. Him being fired is the middle of the process to me.

But I'm going to save this to see if anything happens before 6 weeks from today

Weren’t we told he’d already coached his last home game, even though that wasn’t in any way accurate?
