The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

Indiana based account from what i can tell, Bobby bags (reputable burner), leal family, and IndianaHQ, Bryant Haines follow, they retweet stuff about IU a lot. If im being totally honest i only follow things related to Indiana sports on my account so i know at some point they distinguished themselves as an Indiana account.

Women do not call 911 for funsies. They do not call 911 because they’re extra pissed. They do not look like she did after his arrest from playing around. She chose to recant on the choking despite forensic evidence to the contrary. She stated “she initiated” the altercation and he was acting in self defense (laughable if you’ve seen pictures of them) as if that makes it okay. They are no longer engaged.  The Austin DA even stated publicly it’s hard to proceed without a cooperating witness despite the physical evidence. He got fired for cause from his alma mater and was paid nothing. Chris Beard is a non starter. We are not Ole Miss. 
 

I said this before, but none of that makes him guilty of a crime. It does make him ineligible to coach at Indiana. If Pat Fitzgerald was too much, Chris Beard is never happening. Cross him off the list.

Up until the hiring news broke, the search had been very quiet, much like Dolson’s later revenue sport search would be. But if you knew who to trust, you knew there was a slow burn to a clandestine meeting in FL, then it fell apart.

No one has to believe me, but I was here, I PM’d some with the sources folks around here, and if you’re around long enough and pay attention, it’s obvious who among us is 1) BSing, 2) not sourced but here for fun and opinion sharing, and/or 3) who actually knows things occasionally.

This. Exactly and well said. I bring up the Woj thing all the time. I think the clip had Jalen Rose on it when Woj reported it? Way too specific for there to be nothing there.

I used to sit next to our meteorologist at work and a good friend is a fireman.  This video clearly means a process is brewing. Despite the energy building in that cloud-fire it is not fueled by emotions. It is a process brewing.  Some are hoping one person can step in and understand it and fix it but when you see it rolling and churning like that it means the process involves many. It is easy to miss these signs but I gained a lot of visceralness from my friends and am happy to explain for the rest of you.

Do you know him personally? Have you seen him drinking excessively in public since being in Mississippi? Have there been allegations of him drinking in excess since being at Ole Miss? I haven't heard of any! How do you know he didn't have his epiphany and is Lazer focused on coaching basketball now? Again, he is already damned in the public eye because of that incident.  I believe in second chances and so far he is passing very well, I'm full go on Beard kicking @$$ and bringing IU back to the big boy table where we belong!

Anyone heard from quinn. He has to be getting a woodson defenders group together. No way he let's the king get forced out mid season.
