These clowns are wasting time. Getting woodson out quickly allows more time to save the season imo. I know things need to be handled right and these are big decisions but it's time to go

I started looking up players from Sampson's team that Crean let go yesterday after the Eli Holman pot throwing saga was brought up here just to see what those guys are doing (Eli is still playing, BTW, in Iran) and saw that too. Just horrible. Sad news for the Etherington family yesterday as well.

What happened???

Bring on Steven's! He is the only one to bring the juice back to this fan base and program. Blank check keys to the state and bigger than the program is all OK with me. More leeway than the general ever had please!

He no doubt would bring the juice back.  But he is not the only one. Dusty would as well.    But I do agree the list is pretty short.

Stevens would 'bring juice' from day one, as would some others.

Winning consistently at a very high level will also bring juice, but not necessarily on day one. That would be just as good.

No. A change was needed. CAM was an up and coming coach. He was the hottest ticket in the market. Unfortunately, just like Crean, Davis, Sampson etc...for one reason or another, it simply did not work at IU.

Completely agree - revisionist history. Just because you struck out doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have stepped in the batters box

If the season does get “saved,” our administration is dumb enough to retain the interim coach a la Ohio State.

Dude I've been saying stuff about Brad in different places for over a year. It's been backed up by the likes of Trilly, Rabby, and other notable names. I've always said he's the top choice and will have interest when the time comes. Does he accept idk but theres a better chance now than there's ever been.

Love it. As we’ve discussed, I think this offseason there are two candidates- $teven$ and May.

I suspect Dolson is handling more NIL and admin stuff right now than going through a candidate list. His list is complete. He was ready last offseason (evidenced by May’s buyout at UM).

Yup.  And Archie was a good hire at the time.  He just wasn’t fit for all the other stuff that comes with the IU job … sadly nor is our current coach.

Basically Dolson had IU in a good spot. Brad wanted to take the job. Buckner and company had a group of donors meeting with Brad too and it was too many cooks in the kitchen. One of that group it might’ve been Buckner or Ferguson pissed off Brad’s wife so she was then out. They had a family vote and it was 3-1 to stay in Boston so they stayed. Brad has had conversations off and on with people he knows both with the Celtics and in Indiana about how he has always wanted to coach at IU or that it’s always been his dream job. He still has family in Indiana and may want to be closer to them as they are getting older. He has talked openly many times about his love for IU and that type of admiration never changes even if you call yourself a masshole. Scott and Brad also have regular communication and have ever since he turned IU done the last time. Couple all of that with the random Seth Davis and Micah Shrewsberry comments and all of a sudden there seems to be a lot of things that start to add up. Especially when some of these people don’t have any connection to IU. There’s probably more stuff that I’ve shared but that’s the gist of it

What have Seth and Shrews states in the past? And thanks for sharing!
