Is that Jerry fellow a troll or what?   Comes in last night, drops a bomb and that he'll type it up when he gets home.  It's now approaching noon the next day and nothing, nada, zippo.  WTF. You're killing me Smalls.    :)

He had to take a nap because of jet lag

WHERE IS JERRY?!?!

I think it's a travel day for Jerry....sounds like we'd hear from him maybe later today? i'm going to trust in his words from last night and @Chris007's confidence and say this is coming to an end soon....even if we have to still watch him on the sideline a few more weeks.

Just a thought ... If there is any announcement forthcoming, wouldn't tomorrow be a better day?

The IU women have a home game tonight and while IU-Rutgers women doesn't move the needle for a lot of people -- I would think Dolson wouldn't want to steal their thunder.

Yes, I realize that the Woodson retirement/departure talk permeates all IU athletics at this point -- but I still think Dolson, etc., would want to leave today's stage to the women.

I've been wrong many a time, so I could be about this as well. Just a rando thought that struck me, however.

This truly is shaping up to be an absolutely fantastic day.  I can't remember when the board as a whole has been this upbeat.  There's no way we'll ever know the full details of how Dolson and President Whitten got this done but they did.  Going upstream against the president of the BOT who also has a number of high $$ donors in his pocket could just as easily been career enders especially for Scott.  I'm truly optimistic for what our basketball future holds.  GO HOOSIERS!

When you say "got this done but they did"...do you just mean the retirement/firing of Woodson...or something else?

If I could post that Dave Chapelle crack addict gif I would...that's most of us on this board right now haha.

I think there is something to be said about this feeling. I do not remember the fan base being this negative during the Archie end, and that is probably because Archie's teams had no hope or chance. This team should be in the tourney.

This level of hope will be killed quickly if we do not do it like football and absolutely clean house and start anew. Hoping today goes smoothly to plan and around 4-6 PM we are all talking about the hope and great things to come (even though we are all anxiously waiting on the JY23 bomb).

I think the women team would be happy he is leaving.

Welcome to the only site that matters!  Have fun, just beware of Kathy

I am well aware and versed in regards to Kathy with a C.  Her absence for the last several days has been a godsend, even if I was just being a lurker.

I teach 7th grade history, and it is hard to focus on teaching these wonderful minds and future leaders of America, while also keeping up with the messages.

You're a year late. 1 Star recruit and sticking up for MW could have got you 250K last offseason.

Well, I was missing the second part anyway. Easy come, easy go!
