So you have them winning every game they are favored in or a toss up and one they shouldn't? Have you seen this team coached/play?

I am not predicting.   Just projecting.  There are wins available out there.  Whether they get them I make no comment, because yes I have seen them play.  :)

What kind of resume would that be? If you are comparing bubble teams, how many make it in without any real good wins.

Just reflecting on the bracketoligsts who say we can get in with 10 conference wins.  Ten is still “possible.”

If there is a plan to make a mid-season move that depends on the outcome of specific games, it’s a terrible plan. Which is why I don’t think there is a plan to get rid of him mid-season. If there isn’t enough evidence to get rid of him now for the head honchos, then he’s coaching the rest of the season.

I think he’s coaching until they are mathematically eliminated from the tournament.  So 11 conference losses. So end of Feb at least.  Once he’s there, he announces his retirement effective the end of the year.

Who is holding things up?

Buckner and Donna Spears from what I heard.  The other BOT members aren’t a problem but these 2 are Woodson bootlickers.  I do think Dolson can move when he wants assuming he has Whitten on board.

No game until Friday…seems like after a meltdown in the last minute in a crucial game is when optics of moving on are best.

One would think!

Meh, not if their goal is to make it look like Woody retired instead of being fired. If a decision had been made to part ways mid way through the season, I think it would have happened already. A couple games would not change that. They’re more concerned about the optics at home and Woody’s legacy than the product on the court IMO. I think if he retires mid season at all, it’ll be just before the last couple games for “health” reasons. Probably best hope is just that they announce he will be retiring at end of year soon. Indiana basketball is utterly depressing.

I am not as convinced as I was him announcing retirement at the end of season cools things off as much as I once did. I am not sure that will sufficiently shield him from criticism

I saw a comment somewhere else that in spite of the loss, Indiana took steps forward today.

Seriously can't believe how dumb the Internet has made some people.

The only step forward was that our loss margin went from 22 points to 18 lol
