We have a combination of guys making crazy money and a coach who is basically half interested in giving a coaching effort. Does anyone honestly think ballo cares about being benched for one game. He knows Woodson is a joke and will be playing him in the next game. And even if Woodson benched him again what does he care he is getting 1.2 million dollars.

Hell, it didn't scare away Langdon Hatton. When asked after last night's game what it's been like to sit and watch, he answered that the only reaction he's had is that it's a dream come true to get to play at IU.

Totally agree. The fan base being the main problem has always been hilarious to me…. It’s literally the only thing (outside of NIL/resources) that remains elite about the program

1) Ben McCollum

2) Bucky McMillan

3) Alan Huss (nice find Stuhoo lol)

4 and 5 - unrealistic probably but personal favorites of mine - Shaheen Holloway and Mitch Henderson. Holloway would thrive at a school with ANY kind of NIL resources to speak of, but SHU has basically nothing in that department. Henderson is probably a Princeton lifer since he’s an alum and didn’t bite on Stanford last cycle

The NIL resources are the fans too.  Most of it is just a handful of really rich people but still fans.

Yup, and I really, really hope that the decision makers have the appropriate understanding that some jobs are just different and being a smart, hard-working X’s and O’s guy is miles from the whole deal here. Pope absolutely gets it and if they’re 3-7 in the SEC and he starts catching some crap he’s gonna be ready for it. But I keep thinking about Archie’s intro presser and he looked like it had just hit him and he appeared spooked and he just looked too small for the job. For all the criticism of Woody’s arrogance, if you take this job your ego better be bullet-proof.

1. You kick the tires on BS and make sure he knows this will most likely be the last time. He’s already been out of college a long time. IMO, he says no this time, that’s it. 
2. Make Dusty say no. 
3. Hope McCollum doesn’t stay in Iowa and follow Fran. 
4/5. If it gets this far down the list, I’d consider us cooked. I like Huss, I think Micah could be good, still think Shertz could be good too.
