You can probably tell, but I am one of those guys that believes wholeheartedly that I will win the lottery when I buy a ticket. What I don't do is think about how I might when the silly mediocre level of $1 million. I believe I'm going to win with whole thing...the big one! I'll do the same with this coaching search. I'm going to believe every rumor that is placed on this board, but not at the mediocre level...no way! I will be believing the rumors about Brad freaking Stevens! It is way more fun than thinking about any other candidate! McCollum? Definitely $1 million lottery level..at the end of the day, I'll take it, but it's not what I'm dreaming of up until the drawing....

Person I know says Woodson is done.  They are talking with like 10 coaches right now.  McCollum is one of them and has a pretty good chance.  Very likable.  They will go for the big dogs first but wouldn’t be shocked if it’s him either. Very likeable and a lot of coaches like him as well.

Enjoy listening to him in various interviews.  Loved his interview after their first loss this year.  Night and Day to what we listen to, nothing about a hump.
Take out his first 2 years as a HC and he has won almost 90% of his games.  Still sits at 82%.  Crazy.

Can’t believe Woody didn’t utilize that… we could’ve made a final four run!

Woodson was up for it, but they refused to separate their lockers... and Woodson had already fired Adam Howard...

We haven’t got a hire right in 30 years, what makes you think it will be any different this time.

Simple matter of playing the odds. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn on that rare occasion.

Could also be the first time since the Knight firing that our AD is able to go out do a search and make a hire on his own without a bunch of mindless bureaucrats meddling in the process.

I am very optimistic this time if we don’t hire Dusty.

Sorry I’m not totally following , but do you like Dusty or don’t want him?

Yeah his security guy at IUPD has been telling people that Woodson told him this is his last season because IU wants Stevens.

Have had an epiphany. Beard to IU as what? The answer is Associate Head Coach for…….Brad Stevens. And now it all makes sense. Brad isn’t just some coach/executive. He is, in fact, Keyser Soze. He’s able to simply bend men’s wills to his own, or so I keep hearing.  And Beard is his Kobayashi. IU basketball is about to enter a golden age that John Wooden only dreamed of. Schools will hang banners for LOSING NC’s to this monolith. And, my friends, the dawn of a new age is only 2 short months away.

Pro tip: cut the gummy in half next time.
