He was allowed to after being relieved of duty—and graciously being allowed to “resign”—during the season.

like i said, you’re just being stubborn and silly. Reply with whatever nonsense you want, much like when you thought Woody was going to turn it around this year, I’m not going to engage with such delusion.

Mike Woodson could “resign” tomorrow and would still coach until IU plays its last game. If you were expecting the administration to forcefully remove Woodson from the sideline before the season ended, well I’m sorry that you fell for the “bits and nuggets”. There’s literally no prior precedent at IU for firing a coach in the middle of the season for meddling performance. #Facts

If I went back to page 1 and read every page over how long do you think it would take? I feel like 1830 would take 5/6 hours

5/6 hours!!! I feel like the pages wouldn't load quickly enough to fit into that window lol...

I might be able to get it done in 2 weeks at a reasonable pace of 131 pages a day...

I'm also not a glutton for punishment like that though, lmao

If Woodys defenders are getting this much grief on a message board, imagine how it is for him in real life…lol

Not sure there any defenders anymore.  I did a poll before the season started and it was 90 not happy with his performance.  I’m guessing that number is 100 now.    People didn’t get to that number in the same way however here we are. Everyone wants a fresh start

It does effect everybody because these false rumors spreads and lead to fans going going with their mob mentality. They take everything as fact and in every discussion it leads to that the administration must be incompetent because he wasn't fired like the insiders said they would be.

Just because "he wasn't fired like the insiders said" doesn't mean that the administration is not incompetent. The facts are not mutually exclusive.

And Chris doesn’t belittle or act condescending to those who don’t take everything he says at face value? Again, it’s a two-way street.

I guess I look at him defending himself from essentially being called a liar differently than initiating the interaction because you have some odd annoyance with people who enjoy the information/feel the need to make a comment about the authenticity of the information.

Taking it at face value literally means you don’t have to believe it, simply keep scrolling.

Why does someone dropping a few nuggets of info that make other people happy and/or engage with the topic bother you? There are other threads forums to hang out in. Posts like this serve no purpose than to belittle folks who enjoy the information and a person in @Chris007 who isn’t under any obligation to share. He does it out of kindness for those of us not connected to Bloomington at all or the program.

Fixed it.

If they had space his dad would like that. His goal is to play professionally next year.

Well then. "bonjour" or "hola" or "zdravo" or "Kon'nichiwa".

For some people maybe discussing  Tibits  and nuggets > actually having to watch the terrible product on the court that is poorly coached.  To each their own comes to mind

And a lot of us do both because we are gluttons for punishment. What’s the line from wedding crashers about music lol

Good basketball? Bad basketball? Who cares there’s basketball to watch!

This isn’t a democracy.

I have always felt like Woody would finish the season.

That said - Chris Holtmann last year is a reasonable parallel. He got fired on Valentine's Day, sitting at 14-11, 4-10 Big Ten, and 2-8 in his last 10.

IU could easily lose our next 4, which would put Woody at 14-11, 5-9 Big Ten, 2-8 in his last 10. We'd be heading into a home game on Valentine's Day vs UCLA, with a week-long break after that.

I’m new here after many years on another site.  This thread is a blast.  Lots of good bits of info, some right and some wrong.  Many funny posts.  I don’t know why a few folks have to ruin it.
They only ruin it if you let them. Glad you are here. Laugh at the idiots like I am sure most of us do
