The Title IX complaint included allegations that Golden sent photos and videos of his genitalia, made unwanted sexual advances on Instagram and requested sexual favors. The school has declined requests to release records of the complaint.

still waiting on the grey area in this one..... those would be called receipts :)

Not claiming to know more details about the situation. Only that I do not base my opinions on legal jargon filled statements that are designed to say nothing. If you are unable to see any grey area from the school declining to comment on those things specifically, that’s fine. Not telling you how to think. Just sharing how I do.

legal jargon?

The University of Florida has closed its investigation into Gators men's basketball coach Todd Golden after finding "no evidence" that he violated Title IX, the school said Monday.

what is legal jargon about that?

Only if you change your profile pic.

Now dammit, y'all can't have it both ways. I was asked two weeks ago to change it to something other than the generic "B".

An embarrassing loss at Purdue should do it!

Didn't we have two of those last year?

Not doing this with you man lol. I’ve said my piece. We can see things differently. Not telling you or anyone else what to think.

way too much Golden talk around this thread.  no one cares.  Let's return to the same team of firing Woody!

Golden, outside of that probe, should be on our short list of candidates.

Perfect. Put him on the list, Stu.

  1. HE'S NOT LEAVING UF FOR IU!!
  2. whether he's a creeper or not.     :)
  3. And his buyout is currently over $14 million - just signed an extension.
  4. And why am I the guy that has to keep the list?
  5. And my list (save for some miracle Stevens/May aberration) would be Byington, Calhoun, and Micah

I can only go by the information presented by Golden, lawyer, and UF. Have a good day

Because it's a better job and in a better conference? Or why not?

He just left San Fran for Gainsville....

Good reasons!

  1. IU is not a better job than UF.
  2. I'm a double Hoosier and my youngest is at UF. The campuses, location, town , and vibe between Gainesville and Btown are remarkably similar.
  3. The B1G is not a better conference that the SEC.

When we get to the point of needing a short list of candidates we can argue over the worthiness of Golden.

Until then it is all about the fire Woody train!

established... I need more content than "derrrr King Woody bad"

We have to see if our rival beats the brakes off of us, and we have to see if he can get the first IU win in the Kohl Center this century (?) before making a final decision?

I still think he’s 100% gone, but it’s hard not to see some tomfoolery that has @Hornsby so concerned. If you’re really waiting for worse “optics” it is curious what happens if the inverse happens and he rattles off a bunch of really good wins. Feels like a potential two way street. Although I personally think the bar for saving his job is way too high to reach, but the “need” for bad losses to justify it internally does make you wonder.

I wonder if the season could be saved if Kenya took over.. I wonder if Scott has thought of that. This is the best roster of talent since 2016 and they are out of the tournament at this point.
