Nah. Did not "mischaracterize" everything you said in "one post."

Actually, you did (it was your post where you managed to do this), but you knew that.

Nope. He threw it at Crean when Tom told him he was no longer welcome at IU. Dan put his foot down after watching all kinds of stuff happen for months. There was a reason the University never considered him as the permanent coach, and it was his total lack of credibility. Those bridges will burn on for years.

Yeah, memory is a little foggy. Thanks for the reminder

Actually, I didn't.

I was pretty spot on in my assessment. But you know that.

You couldn’t have been further from the truth, but that’s a “you” problem.

Can’t remember which of the knuckleheads it was. When Dakich was named coach he called out the guys for skipping class, smoking and whoring. Whoever it was didn’t like being held responsible and he picked up a flower pot and threw it at DD

Doing a Google search, it was Eli Holman

Eli Holman was not going to class and screwing up... and Tom Crean called him to the office to tell him that he was being dismissed from the team. Somewhere during the exchange, Holman asked Crean for bus money to leave town and Crean told him no... so he chucked a potted plant.

What kinds of stuff did Dan watch happen for months?

You may regret it. I’m older, fatter, grumpier, and have 3 kids, mix that with Woodson’s coaching, it’s a lethal combination ;)

Trying to get back to posting more, IU basketball will always be my number one sports team. Coaching and having 3 kiddos now just keeps me very busy and exhausted.

Please do buddy!  Get on back Jaybob!  We miss ya.
