Yep.  The one constant over the last 25 years -- people who aren't the AD meddling with the bball program.  Donors, trustees, and the President do not know anything, ANY-THING, about running a successful bball program, including hiring/firing coaches.  And even worse they're often severely conflicted.  The meddling has happened in different ways over the years, but it's the constant.  This sort of behavior will harm any organization, not just IUBB.
Scott Dolson needs full autonomy and support to run the basketball program.  I do not want to hear one peep about what Pete Yonkman, Cook, Simon, Ferguson, any trustee, etc. (collectively, the idiot "Stakeholders") think, want, or prefer.  They have no idea what they're doing, and they all need to shut the hell up, NOT A PEEP, and let Scott do his job.  The only thing they should be doing is sending donations.
I am optimistic this has become clear.  Scott has delivered massively on FB, everyone sees it, even people in the university not interested in sports.  On top of that, Scott was right in wanting to move on from Woody last year.  I'm hopeful everyone sees he is the only one who knows what he is doing and he has control now.  But, there is always risk the Stakeholders can't help themselves.
Let's hope but I have my doubts. It's clear they all suck! It's obvious they have zero clue! But thinking they realize their level of suck and will steer clear is far fetched!

I've got to hope for something!  This is the only optimistic angle I can see with IUBB.

When Scott points to FB revenue going up $10-20M and the $7M+ in free advertising Big Noon, GameDay, etc. brought the university, people are going to have to listen to him.

Off topic, I just noticed that Mississippi State’s gym is called “The Hump”! I think I just found coach Portal’s next gig.

I wish I could talk more about this but truth be told I have not watched much basketball this year. I saw like three minutes yesterday and I realized I was hate watching so I decided to go elsewhere.  It’s just sports but there’s only so much I can tolerate when corruption (the Buckner / Woodson relationship) and stupidity ( administration ) run a program to the ground.
Things like this make me sad! Iu basketball should be enjoyable to watch. You can't win all the games but to come out and play like last night should be a very rare occasion!

I didn’t watch either. I still do when I’m home, out of boredom I guess. But I haven’t been watching much when I have literally anything else to do.

While everyone in here is just waiting on the inevitable which will be Woody gone after this year you guys might as well watch some actual teams that are coached by good college basketball coaches and watch some mid major teams.  I know most don’t want to watch if IU is bad but don’t miss out on good basketball because IUs coach stinks.  MWC, SoCon and MVC are must watch.   I would adid every game in the SEC is must watch.   Again this is just to pass the time before Woody is gone next year because he is cooked, done and finished.   It’s already over

I would add Michigan to your must-watch list.

For people in this thread might be too hard to watch them.   I agree they are fun to watch however they have flaws that will prevent them from making a run in March.   They got to clean up the TO situation and stop letting teams come back on them.  Wolf is a beast
