Guarantee postgame will be nothing but cliches and coach-speak. It's what coaches do when they have nothing left. Woodson is done and so is this team.

Rabby made a good comment about needing to have success with HS recruiting and some gap filling with the portal. If you recruit that HS level well you raise your floor.

I agree with your post in theory.

However, word gets around among players. And quality portal guys don’t want to walk into a train wreck when word gets around that one is happening.

So at that point, we are left with portal guys that are simply and purely coming to collect a paycheck. And that’s not the team culture that wins.

You should never have a team composed of either - "battle tested guys from other programs" or "fresh out if high school". You have to build a culture and allow the team to gel over the years...  if you have a base of a team (HS recruits from the last couple of years), it's easier to plug in a guy or two without messing up any chemistry... if you are constantly getting 4, 5 or more players from the portal, you have to manage a lot more - chemistry, continuity, etc... and Woodson has not shown an inkling of ability to gel a team... 25 games in and he's still whining that we're a "young team".

I REALLY REALLY hope Dolson doesn’t see this as Woodson just needs a new group of players on the team. Get new leadership in here who can get the program where it’s supposed to be.

First two years where decent, given the circumstances.  By year 3 you should be on a roll and it’s not even close to being good.  

You don't get it... we lost starters, we're young... it's a rebuilding year... give him a chance to recruit....I say give him an extension!
