After watching the Morehead game my enthusiasm for IU basketball is............................   North Alabama (6-6) lost to Morehead State 86-77 on Dec. 10, so our game Thursday will probably go to triple OT.

I’m going…taking my boys ages 5 and 9, and my wife to their second game ever…hopefully they’ll bring them luck…if so you all can rally up some NIL money to get me tickets to home games for the rest of the year…

They’re about 200-ish in kenpom/torvik rankings. So worse than the Morehead and Harvards of the world but not complete pushovers.

A lot of upperclassman perimeters who shoot the 3 at a good percentage (~80th in the country) but take a slightly below average amount of them.

I’m afraid to guess how this goes.

They kinda need to win big don't they . 10 or less can't be good or I'm I just doom or gloom .

Our efficiency rankings (the sagarin/kenpom/torvik types) would be helped by blowouts. But we’re pretty screwed already in that dept.

We need to win and then compete in the B1G, at this point.

Thursday is the night we finally blow someone out. I swear!

I'm not sure we could blow out a high school team at this point. They'd hit enough 3's to hang around.

Clearly, the better team is not going to be in this game.

NA lost to MSU by 9.  So I have IU winning by 2...just because.

I feel that Cupps' is due for a breakout game...he will score one FG and 2 frees for a total of 4.

Xavier continues to prepare for the Little 500.

Ware plays well for 8 minutes or so.  Then it's tipoff time.

Reneau may be fouled 6 or 7 times but he will be called for 4, again.

Mgbako will get 6 rebounds and score 8....but no 3s.  And after making a great play he will foul someone...rinse...repeat.

Galloway will still not get a haircut.  And that is not a bad thing.  And as long as he does not use a headband...IU will have a chance at winning.

Walker, Banks, Gunn, Leal and Sparks will all come off the bench.  But hopefully, not at the same time. One of them might score in double digits.

Coach Woodson will get a win.  And the post-game interview he will say: We need to show more energy; we need to play the whole game; we need to learn how to close; we have to defend the 3; we need to make more free throws; we need to show more energy; we need to play the whole game; we...
