That is just straight suits, right? I believe it's where their athletic department and all of that is located too. It's been a while since I was there...I think that may be the more closed looking building in the top right of the picture. Top left I believe is the weight room/dining and their indoor is connected from there, but that's stuff we already have in-place in a pretty good setup, other than the indoor. CSP 1 Quote
8bucks Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 If any of you have companies that might be interested in a corporate sponsorship, they are not that expensive. I had the unfortunate experience of managing that for my prior company during what had to be some of the poorest football and basketball periods and we never could get people to go. This is a few years old now but we only paid ~ $200k/year and got season football tix, about 15 bball games and some additional perks like giving out a game ball, doing a radio spot with Fischer, taking a group of customers to a basketball practice, coaches panel etc. Now that football is good, that is a value if the pricing is the same. We had floor seats for BBall and during football games we would get to go down on the field for part of the game. A similar sponsorship with the colts was about the same pricing but you got more promotional partnerships. If anyone has an interest I can connect you with the contacts. thebigweave, Home Jersey, FortWayneHoosier and 1 other 3 1 Quote

I couldn't find the buyout numbers but both of their salaries are numbers that can be persuasive enough to entice them to sit at the table, in my opinion. And I would think both of them would like the chance to coach Big Ten football. This was the first mention of coach cig in out board. 5 pages in. Amazing how we got lucky because i can tell you now that Duke was going to make a major play for him. We beat them by one week. Jeff Flabjohns, Demo, go iu bb and 7 others 8 2 Quote

IUP had a 4-10 conference record prior to Cig's arrival and in his first year they went 7-3. Elon had a 4-20 conference record and six straight losing seasons prior to Cig's arrival. They won 8 games his first season there. While at JMU he's always been 1st in the conference. Guys, this is a big effin' deal if we land this coach. I'm trying to stay calm about this because I don't want to get my hopes up. LOL! Dang man. You nailed it. go iu bb, Hollywood Mike Miranda, 8bucks and 1 other 4 Quote

My belief is that Dolson saw blood in the water and made a major push immediately before anyone else had a chance.
