IU football thinking…So if Illinois beats Michigan and IU football fans slept from Illinois game until today does that mean IU football is better than Michigan football.

Well, after Michigan beats Illinois IU football may not be quite as good as Michigan football but today was more than just another moral victory vs Michigan State.

Does IU football have the most moral victories in major college football?

If moral victories were victories, we still wouldn't be bowl eligible most years.

A win today gets T. A. off the hot seat for a week.  And if IU beats Purdue things would be positive for T. A. going into 2023 season.
which leads me to think there would be 1 or 2 more wins (Maryland, Nebraska, Rutgers) in 2022 if coaching staff would have motivated Dexter Williams as starting QB back in August…even though I think there was a question of how hard he worked since he felt he was not going to be the starter and IU depending on passing game which went off the rails.  Don’t see how IU beats Purdue?

Michigan State offensive stats vs IU stats

However, IU No fumbles.
