Maybe it was on HSN, but I remember this being touted as a tell by one poster during the Ledlum recruitment. It didn't really work out then and I wouldn't put too much stock into it now.

I visit both sites so I don't remember which it is was. I just remember one poster being very adamant about it and arguing with everyone who didn't agree. He, if course, turned out to be wrong. 

Point being that even though I can see how it seems like a tell, I don't think it really is. Especially following a girl

I think IGology missed on Ledlum but others have said he was a yes then flipped so maybe it was still accurate. The IGoligist though was spot on with MM pretty early. He researched social info to see that Lville had issues and would miss and the IGs leaned heavily for us vs Kansas. It was actually pretty good work by whoever that was.

In all fairness, Ledlum told the IU staff he was coming then Barnes and co made a last minute in house visit and the rest is history. That was a very odd recruitment

Thank goodness we got Mgbako over Ledlum. That was a blessing.

I do wish we would have added Dingle or Knecht though. Both would have fit our roster nicely. But at Gallo/Gunn expense.

To me? Everything is simply information.

There is no one category of information that is absolutely conclusive.No one piece that clinches anything. But I weigh some pieces as more informative than others.

I try to get a good sense on these things by staying completely evidence based. For instance, when Sterling said UK this week, I found that interesting because I’ve never considered Sterling as a guy that adds evidence before. I waited for an evidentiary basis from him…and none came, so I am pretty much discounting it.

The single best item of evidence I’ve seen? The Cuban follow this Monday. That doesn't guarantee anything, but it goes farther for me than any other item of evidence I’ve seen for this recruitment.

So, to summarize? Primarily because of the best piece of evidence unique to this recruit I’m optimistic, but of course there is no way to be absolutely convinced because I don’t have conclusive proof.
