Class of '66 Old Fart

(2024) - PG Boogie Fland to Kentucky

Recommended Posts

70-30 or maybe even 75-25 IU. Everything I've been told is he's coming to IU but never know with Cal. He's so shady
Boogie is not taking any more visits right? Now I agree not to trust Cal but it seems unlikely at this point.

Chris007 is there any news on any Secret Scrimmages that we could be having, seen some posts for other teams?

Someone else will know better than me but I think you can choose between a secret scrimmage and one exhibition game or playing two exhibition games and we choose to play the two exhibitions

This is new as of this morning.

Is this really, really good news? Damn straight it is.

At first, it certainly did seem like damn straight good news...until I noticed who also followed Boogie.

It might come down to a battle between the finances of mcuban and the influence of wukaduk.  We shall see.

A class of McNeely, Queen and Fland would be the best class since recruiting rankings to ever go to IU. And it isn't close.

Had the No. 1 class in 1989 with Pat Graham, Greg Graham, Calbert Cheaney, Todd Leary, Chris Lawson, Lawrence Funderburke and Chris Reynolds.

Only two were McDonald All-Americans and I believe Calbert was the lowest-rated recruit in that class because of his injury in high school
