I think the play of the game is when x got his 3rd foul and waved off the substitute and woodson kept him in.

So, does this impact the starting line up and minutes tomorrow? How do we start Stewart tomorrow after seeing what we did with him on the bench?

This was brought up earlier and the consensus was that Woody isn't one to change starting lineups.  However, I was beyond shocked and happy Stewart didn't get put back in until the very end of the game for free throw purposes.  I think he'll start but have a much shorter leash.

Yes, but with real limited free throws. 76% in his career.

I hope we don’t wait until we’re down 17 to make the right substitutions. We are a lot more mobile and well rounded without him

Was at work and had a coworker on the phone giving me play by play the last four minutes. Truly proud of this team for sticking to it. I think this win puts IU in the tournament. Let’s make it a formality tomorrow!

But I not you and I did.  Crean sucked big time.  He won at Marquette and IU with smoke and mirrors.  The Marquette fanbase was happy he left and wanted him gone two prior to when he left.  I will give him this, he can recruit as long as he has the program and facilities behind him and it is primarily a basketball school.  He obviously didn’t recruit well at Georgia and he didn’t win.

You could also say the same about Race today. I'd keep Stewart as the starter. What matters is who gets the most minutes, not who starts. If Stewart is hitting early, great. If not, go to Galloway

Crean isn't a good coach, aside from the FF year with Wade he was wildly mediocre at Marquette.  Davis isn't a good coach either and didn't do anything after that title game.

I tried to post when things were at their darkest and was told I was locked out of my account. Don't know why, but it sure kept me from publically making a fool of myself.

My thoughts from attending the game. 
 

- I was ready to start the Woodson Fire Thread after the first half. Gosh the offense wasn’t moving, I thought Johnson probably should’ve came in sooner even with two fouls. The effort wasn’t ideal. Michigan was also shooting really well. 
 

- The second half run was 2013 level. I don’t know the official run total but it was fun. The defense was unreal. Interesting we do that without Parker.. :D Johnson’s effort was the reason for the start of the run. 
 

- TJD looked like a shell of himself in the first half. Second half, he turned into the TJD we love. 
 

- I owe Johnson an apology. Pitt guards have been cursed for us. He started off rocky this year but has been playing really well the last couple weeks. We don’t win this morning without Johnson. 
 

- Woodson had some excellent ATO’s in the second. We did a great job of holding our composure in the final minute. Michigan did us a great favor turning the ball over in the backcourt. 
 

I don’t know if we’re dancing quite yet. I don’t think an L tomorrow affects it. If we win tomorrow we are for sure dancing but I’m still thinking we’re going to be waiting for the actual bracket on Sunday on the edge of our seats. Great Win. Great win for the program. Woodson needed that one, especially after the first half performance.

It’s not so much that we know how to waste time as it is more the Army knows how create situations where you just end up doing nothing for long periods of time while the higher ups sit around and try to figure things out so you can actually do your job, lol!
