Yup. Because of the time missed a lot of analysts have put him back of mind. But if he’s 100% physically and mentally Newton’s got some rare traits. Even with the time lost it would not shock me if by B1G season he forces Woody to find him minutes. lillurk, BGVille Hoosierfan and Stuhoo 3 Quote

He can be a defensive stopper nationally. Physicality, wingspan, athleticism, and attitude. He’s gonna be one of those guys who plays like someone’s gonna punch his grandma if he lets them score—a scowler. The kid is a warrior. Ricochet, lillurk, BGVille Hoosierfan and 3 others 6 Quote

Between that and Demo’s Cupps :: Jay Wright guard comp, I love where the backcourt is going. ALASKA HOOSIER, Stuhoo and thebigweave 3 Quote

NashvilleHoosier Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Since I’m positive they are looking for random message board guy’s critique….this 18 minute video is 13-14 minutes too long and please get a mic on this kid. LIHoosier Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 Pilot episodes are usually haphazard. I'm sure Clif saw the Wings/Fries plate and has put him on notice. ;) lillurk 1 Quote

Had a similar procedure, an osteochondral drilling, in 2000 and my knee never came all the way back. But, an 18 yo body, advanced technology and a dedicated staff I’m sure bode well for his prospects, long term. go iu bb, ALASKA HOOSIER, mamasa and 2 others 4 1 Quote

mike vannice Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 Does anybody know the status of Jakai for this upcoming season? Other sites saying he suffered another injury and is doubtful for the season. Just rumors or any truth to this? Quote
