Nice piece of video from the 100 Camp. Really like the 2 blocks. Not a lot of young bigs understand verticality. Though I doubt 6’11” is correct.

My comp for him has been Harry Giles before the knee problems. Not sure he’s that sort of sheer percolating competitor, but the body and athleticism are very similar and Clowney may have a broader skill set. Love the kid. Most invested I’ve been in a recruitment since Aminu Mohammed, though I never thought that one was gonna happen. Really want this one.

I love it. IU looks to be in a good spot with JHS, Clowney, and Sensabaugh. Let’s hope they land at least 2 of the 3. Although all 3 wouldn’t surprise me at all. The next month could be VERY INTERESTING!!!

Definitely a good sign. With what we expect our guard play to look like and our bigger basketball brand gotta think he’s ability to earn money will be higher here 

I’m guessing program revenues are the best indicator for potential profit for a college athlete.  Not perfect but best metric to use I could think of.  If so we are twice the size of any of those teams.

Really interesting writeup by Joe Tipton. It speaks to how far under the radar Clowney has been, and probably how negatively impacted kids like him and Sensabaugh were by no AAU season last year, that in talking about his top 4 schools:

1) He describes the 4 months he’s been talking to IU as “a long time.”

2) He says that a top 4 school for him, Alabama, didn’t start really recruiting him until after the top 100 camp, which was last month.

3) He freely admits that he knows really nothing at all about UF.

That class would clearly announce IU as a big time player again. CMW is priming the pump.

Rabby said yesterday that Clowney will have his entire family with him on his visit to IU. Mom, Dad, brother, and sister will all be on the trip. That's a very good sign IMO.

Feels like (more than one would usually expect) we could get a commitment during or soon after the trip.

If he takes his other visits the mood will deflate considerably.
