I don't care what anyone says. You do your lifting in the off-season. Once the season starts, you're staying shape. Not trying to bulk up.

Yes why would a basketball player want to improve muscle tone for strength, endurance, responsiveness, agility, injury mitigation or prevention??     Holy Sh*t.. They're not trying to look like Ahnold.

Or are they??

On second thought, forget Larry Brown; lets get these guys on staff too...

Well you are WRONG and uneducated on the subject. We have our high school kids lift during the season and we shot 40% as a team from 3 on the season. Your argument only holds if an individual is lifting to gain a ton of muscle mass which IU’s players aren’t. IU’s players aren’t any more bulked up than most other good programs.

I guess everyone has a hill they want to die on...

You know you can lift weights and not bulk up right? Teams 100% lift during the season, good luck convincing the majority of coaches of any sports that a weight lifting program during season is wrong.
