Jeff Goodman thought Archie Miller was a home run hire. Who cares what he thinks. Let's let this play out. Glad he is prioritizing the team first. Need to know if these guys are coming back or not.

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed, just kind of blah!! I'm not going to bail on IUBB or make predictions that Woody will fail or thrive. 

If, and it's a big if, he's able to recruit well I think he'll do fine. He wouldn't be my 1st choice but I'm behind him 100%.

I’m on the Woody wagon even though I don’t have much confidence in the hire. But this could end up being a good thing since I thought Sampson was a slam dunk, Crean was a home run, and Archie was a grand slam.

I was on the fence about the hire, but after seeing Goodman's tweet I'm all on board. Goodman is such a clown.

Reading through the posts, I realize how dumb I am.  I thought hiring an IU legend, with unimpeachable basketball knowledge,a solid career coaching at the highest level, and someone that would walk barefoot across glass for the job was a good thing.  I am sure glad all of you experts cleared it up for me.

I can’t stand Goodman! We don’t need him bashing us all the time. However, he maybe right on this one. Seems really risky to me.

The fact Goodman is against it even strengthens my thought that this is a GREAT hire... 

If you ever find yourself thinking the same thing as Goodman, you have to reconsider.

Mostly the prescription refills... maybe an increase in dosage as well.

I'm optimistic about this, could Woodson fail, of course, but many people's initial reaction to Archie was positive and look how that turned out.  At least Woodson knows IU basketball and cares about this program.  Matta in the fold is a definite plus.  I'll be curios to see how his staff shakes out, he is obviously connected to some great former NBA players that could be added to the staff.  Although I expect at least one other former IU player on staff.

To clarify this, all power five coaches do to an extent.

All power five coaches do not have a personal relationship with some of the biggest NBA names and personally coached them.
