I think we are stuck with either that guy out at USC, Enfield, (or someone like him) or a Fife (or similar). I don't see a final four type P5 coach comming here anytime soon. I could see a Matta or Belein. Fear an Alford hire.
Popular Post ALASKA HOOSIER Posted March 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 12, 2021 Hopefully, this guy can transfer into IU this offseason. pumpfake, 323SGrant, theriverpilot and 7 others 10
323SGrant Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 I do too...he has 5 star vision. A good offseason would do wonders for him. I just don't want the family to bring down the culture. As I said above the family is probably frustrated. They were most likely misled by the staff into Khristian leaving Reitz a year early. That's on them too. Did you have the opportunity to see him play at Reitz? Hopefully, as with most players, a year of experience will significantly help him. Hoping for significant improvement with IU Basketball! People were certain BD was coming, got their hopes up, and no one was going to be good enough. (Other than Brad Stevens) For me, no. He's not the hire Glass led us on, at the time it was a double at best, but he’s been horrid here. pumpfake 1

My exact word were I feel like I’ve just been kicked in the nuts! Well, I still feel that way 4 seasons later. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners There's a reason. Not beating PU, sub .500 in conference every year, etc; the Miller era has been a repeated kick in the nuts.
Feathery Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Chris Beard, his buyout is $3 million. That’s a realistic number fo IU pay and then give the necessary salary to get him here.

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners If that took place I would say that it came from whatever promises Archie made while he was recruiting Lander in order to get him to leave high school and enroll early. That's not good at all if it's true. Plus like DD says all the time families really need to get out of players ways and let the athletes deal with whatever the problem is.
ap2345 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 8 hours ago, Unexpectedflash said: Could this have been why Lander didn’t play today? I don’t remember hearing anything about an injury for him so I found it odd he didn’t get any minutes. If Archie took out a his frustration on a kids parent out on the athlete that's a problem. If Lander feels the same way as his mom then that could've been it. That said I've seen many times when parents and kids aren't on the same page with these types of situations so who knows. My guess is Archie just wanted to shorten the rotation in the tournament.
ap2345 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 8 hours ago, Golfman25 said: If the text is true, then I believe this is why. Kid reclassified for nothing. You'd think an honest college coach would let him know he needs more seasoning in HS. Hell even I could see it. DD has said on his show many times that the IU staff did a disservice to Lander by convincing him to reclassify and then not play him in a consistent role throughout the season. Seth Greenburgh said the same thing when he came on the show so I'd love to know what exactly Archie and company sold him on.
Bobman1 Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Excited to hear the Friday morning rumor mill on here in a few hours.
