Shouldn't people like that be in private suites or something? Not just out sitting amongst the regulars?

Not necessarily...you want the players to know you're there watching...

I think you are reading that wrong.  If Brownell terminates he owes 20% of remaining compensation — about $3.3 million.  It’s 50% only if Clemson terminated.

I computed as you did. :) I wanted it be higher, so it could eliminate him as a possibility.

You ok? Need some sleep?

Thanks, because you know you’re right.  I do need a break from this.  I’m up all night worrying about this stuff, ya know…and what’s gonna happen if we don’t find a coach in time…and whether we’ll even have a team next season.  Now THAT’S a true nothingburger and possibly a double nb with cheese…right?

I gotta go to bed. But I’m also dismayed that RTZ did not reappear.

The Fox Mulder in me thinks he’s been shut down along with all the other people that know Brad is coming.

Just saying that makes me think I need medication.

I think we all need medication. Xanax maybe? Are there any doctors on this board?

Or, SD has listened to Cig and is negotiating with Byington

Would be interesting to know what Cig thinks of Mark of their time together!

Honestly even at the SEC tournament he probably flies under the radar unless they’re sickos like us. Especially SEC where they think a basketball is an over-inflated football.

If you’re not from Indiana or a Celtic fan, you have no idea who he is. Brad Stevens looks like the guy holding a seat for his girlfriend who is the daughter of one of the coaches.

Especially without Celts gear on…

Can’t speak for BS specifically but tournaments are a great way to see a lot of players in a short period with minimal travel. As a bonus the games have clearer stakes than regular season games and the neutral court setting mitigates potential home/road effects, so yes, plenty of executives and scouts are typically at them

I do appreciate that. I've worked in athletics. My curiosity is specific to Brad so as to get excited or not. ; > )

Interesting observation. Why wouldn’t you rep?

I wouldn’t make tooooo much of his presence, as suggested by my earlier comment that scouts and execs are fond of tourneys. But I noticed this too.

To not draw attention

Sorry, meant to quote Alistair's comment!
