There is either a material breach of a contract term, in which case the contract is voided, or there isn’t. You don’t just say that you don’t like a contract term and try to use it to modify another portion of the contract. I am not a lawyer but I’m pretty sure these contracts aren’t written/enforced in such a simple way that you can cry “loophole!!” since you’re in the B10 instead of the P12 and somehow materially change the agreement. His options are either honor the current contract or find a new job.

Lol That is correct. Now if UCLA didn’t pay him the agreed Pac12 bonus for winning a Big10 championship, he would absolutely have a justiciable claim. jimsorgi, thebigweave, Home Jersey and 1 other 4

Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Seems like we’ve got three main categories here: (1) good coaches who’d take the job but IU won’t hire (2) good coaches who don’t want the job (3) unproven or underwhelming coaches thebigweave 1

Will I care about any negative backlash from the negative nancys who just want to be miserable and have something to complain about? Absolutely not. Will still continue to share anything I hear, and like all of us, will wish the new coach the best of luck. Buuuuuuuut, as I said on 2/21, the leaks would start occurring tomorrow.
