TTT Posted February 22 Posted February 22 If it’s not Steve Alford just go back to a guy who was high on last year’s list. Josh Schertz turned Indiana State around in a couple years. Indiana State played an exciting style of basketball and played hard. He’s a baldy and give him NIL money. He is a player’s coach. Plus he’s smart. lillurk 1

If BS doesn’t become the coach, we can call it even. But darnit!!!
rcbowla Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Seriously folks there's good coaches still available. Dusty was attainable so it sucks for some but Stevens was never happening. So if there were only 2 coaches that would have made you happy then you were destined to be unhappy with this hire. skhoosier2, woodenshoemanHoosierfan, Home Jersey and 1 other 4
Popular Post WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 22 Popular Post Posted February 22 Welp. LolCronin getting pushed hard. That’s just gonna be hard for me to enjoy. Very few coaches out there that I’m genuinely excited about as far as making a top 10 splash. Beard, Drew, McCasland, Bennett (if lack of Nil was his issue)Not getting May last year (assuming we would have) legitimately frustrates me. Indiana can’t get out of its own way. Firing Sampson was so dumb and our program acting like we are better than others while losing for 30 years sums it all up. I fear very few coaches fit what Dolsen described. Cronin and Drew do. Then next tier guys, but Cronin just isn’t a match. Plain as day. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Pagoda, taco corp, RoadRage and 9 others 12

When’s the last time Indiana has had the best tactician on the sideline? Prime Knight? McCollum would be the very best X’s & O’s coach 9.9 times out of 10. He’s got a chance to tie Drake’s single season wins record, in year 1 of Division 1, with FOUR D2 transfers starting. He’s not a flash in the pan. He dominates everywhere he goes. Why would that change at all place where he will have no problems getting talent? We missed on Stevens and May? Don’t miss on this no brainer. And he is a no brainer. We are all going to find out in short order. What would everyone’s position have been in TJ Otz prior to his immediate succes at ISU? 100% agree IUFAN1976 1

That HARDLY says “STAY AWAY FROM OUR COACH OF THE NEXT 20 YEARS!” The fact that it’s paltry just speaks to the fact he was never leaving Michigan and the original buyout wasn’t so he could bolt and save IU money like I tried saying over and over. Based on his own statement, this seems like it was literally just to pay lip service to an extension so the media would stfu about him to IU. Our chance was last season, we blew it, and we’ve got 2000 pages of FMW that says we were all right for thinking it. Deserthoozier, Home Jersey, lillurk and 10 others 12 1
