Active coaches w/a title?

There’s a long version if you want it but this is the elevator pitch for Drew

What if I told you there was one national championship HC we are overlooking. Plus he has recent NBA head coaching experience, as well as strong prep connections thanks to his run at Overtime Elite. He's also still just 52 years old.

What if I told you that coach is Kevin Ollie...

What if I told you I’d rather have Kevin Ollie be the next IU coach than Calipari?

Why? Calipari has sustained success over a long period time

Oof. That Calipari, Bruiser Flint, Kenny Payne combo at Arky is rrrruf. When your team is South Carolina’s beeyatch that does not reflect well on crap-a$$ Coach Cal.

Calipari has an outside chance of getting fired two seasons in a row.

Calipari isn’t getting fired this year, where are you seeing that?

Cal is one of the winningest coaches in college basketball history. I can see not liking him as a person, I don’t like him either but there is nothing about Ollie the coach that is better than Calipari the coach

You think our fans are pissed at high payroll/low performance?

After tonight Arky will be 6-11 in conference with a top ten payroll. Calipari’s contract will probably save him from dismissal, but that Arky situation is pretty grim.

The results haven’t been what I/you/most would expect given the NIL and talent that’s for sure but he isn’t getting fired and it has nothing to do with his contract.

you clearly don’t like him but IU would be ecstatic to have his results over the last 20 years. He averaged an elite 8 for Pete’s sake. That’s better than what we’ve done since 2002

Why is the immortal Chuck Martin getting a free pass?

Cal hasn’t been to a S16 or farther since Tyler Herro and PJ Washington were in Lexington.

He hasn’t adapted what his teams do to where hoops is at; even some of his best UK teams left money on the table in shot selection.

I mean, if I’m worried Self has lost his fastball? I’m sure Cal did awhile ago.

Seven elite 8 appearances at Kentucky - IU has 11 in program history. Love him or hate him, his results can’t be downplayed. He lost his fastball maybe, but he had a tremendous run.
