So bringing up anything about resources over the last 25 years is really pointless. Now obviously resources does not guarantee success. But there is no doubt whoever the next coach of IU is will have the best resources of any coach Indiana has seen in the post Knight era. I can see "resources" used as a carrot to entice players to go to a school that otherwise has no shot at landing big time recruits. But a basketball blue blood?
ziggyiu Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Anyone have a beat on any more intriguing flights out of and into the Bloomington area? I didnt put a lot of stock in the Brad to IU talk, but the one thing that piqued my interest in the possibility was the flights around Boston and Bloomington in early February. Since then has anyone been tracking flights? Not necessarily connected to Brad, but any interesting patterns anywhere else in the country? (I know with a search firm we wouldn't necessarily see flights into/out of Bloomington. And I know we may not be at the point where folks need to meet in person, but the fact that it seemed we had so many seemingly connected flights around Bloomington and Boston early and nothing anywhere of late seems interesting.) I understand these flights don't necessarily portend anything, but they are good message board fodder. thebigweave, JPCIVOP and HoosierSadaseci 2 1

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Until someone not named Brad Stevens is named the head coach at a press conference, then there will always be a chance with Brad Stevens. At this point last time Stevens went on talk radio in Boston and said he was flattered but wasn't interested. We have zero confirmation that Brad is not interested in Indiana. The Goodman quote was poor. He got Stevens to say he's happy being a Celtic, duh. cleeter, Artie86, hoosierbannerd and 3 others 4 1 1

Flights from Clark Co, Monroe and Bedford Mass all went to Teterboro. Then yesterday two planes Ned’s and an unmarked flew from Teterboro to Clark Co. Then drove over to Bloomington. I’m pretty sure the search firm is in town this weekend. HoosierSadaseci, Artie86, lillurk and 10 others 12 1

Unless it's him being thwarted more often than not by IU, which I would love because at the end of the day: Michigan sucks.
