I'd rather have Stevens but it'd be difficult to complain about Scott Drew. He's 54 so we could still have more than 10 good years.

Why be more careful! We all know you think stevens. Say it loud proud and often. If it is what you are hearing. Who cares if people on here call you out because at this point they are going to anyhow

Hiring Drew would be pretty funny after Kentucky wined and dined him and got turned down. Aside from him being a great coach, that would be worth its weight in UK salt.

Saw him in AAU an event in Bloomington with my brother and he was dominated by a 6'3" guy from Bloomington North I believe.

My brother who did some high-school coaching, That kid can't play a lick.

I will when I have heard from someone I trust that it is a done deal. Some others have heard things like that but I have not. 

Also I thought it was done last time, people believed me, I felt I let them down and I got some really nasty emails from people. Just trying to avoid that

Where do you get that he's fading off a bit?  He's still finished in the top 4 of the Big 12 (the best conference in basketball during that time) the last 6 years and hasn't finished worse than 7th since 2010-2011.  Sure it's a down year this year, but nothing tells me he is fading.   

Most proven coaches are going to have had really good years at previous stops. 

If Scott Drew says yes, you take him and run.

He used to post on HSN I believe then left after the Brad and BillyD to IU assurances fell through.  I think anyway.

Those email writers are unhappy-with-life tools.  Appreciate what you share and the sense of humor that you have about it.  If it works out great!  If not we will still get a damn good coach.
