I will say I refuse to believe this search is anything but Dolson and Co.’s A game, as this process has been underway for months and months. So that’s part of why this is pretty confusing to me so far (granted it’s still early).

I’m sorry. I just don’t have any interest in Chris Collins…nor do I think we will look at him. I think Beard is much better than Collins.

YOU asked for quad 1 comparisons.  Don’t ***** about them because they didn’t turn out the way you wanted.

I will say this: Even though they grew up in Indiana (One was even a manager here), it was going to be hard to convince the GM of the defending NBA Champions and current betting favorite this year to win it all to leave. It was also going to be hard to convince the Head Coach of the 1st (I guess now 2nd) place team in the Big Ten to leave. Just sucks that one of them would've been here a year ago if not for egos.

Hasn’t had Doug for awhile and he is competitive in the Big East conference which has produced the back to back national champions.   He would have to get use to the smaller crowds at IU compared to Creighton

I never said that I had any interest in him and yes Beard is a better coach than Collins.  But there are warts that are there just like pretty every other candidate that people aren’t acknowledging — and those aren’t just off the court.

I'd put McDermott in the next group with Buzz Williams and I guess Brownell.
