I thought it was here?  - someone wrote about series of incidents - one where Beard got drunk in front of Pat Knights inlaws and was a real @$$ - another was about the 'vids' of Beard being wasted in college bars (https://kkam.com/drunk-chris-beard-ruins-texas-tech-fans-christmas/) - seemed like they had done their research - knew stuff

Again just rumors. Do I believe them? Maybe but I think they should allow an independent group to vet Beard - he's a solid choice from just a coaching standpoint - if there's smoke there then rule him out.

Indiana has already vetted him, the last coaching search, that's been covered by Chris007 here, Rabby, and just about anyone. Indiana found out they don't like what's behind the curtain.

Rabjohns made a good point in his video. Why would Stevens set his buddy Goodman up to look like a fool? Tell him something that is false and then let Goodman's credibility take a hit for it? Doesn't make sense

Pat has told the story a few times that he had to bail him out of jail a couple times. If you know Pat that’s saying something.

Why take that risk when they are other candidates just as qualified. Having a connection to Bob Knight should not be part of the criteria for hiring a basketball coach.

I don’t buy the smoke screen theories, but I think there’s a simple enough answer for the people who do. People who think the smoke screen theory is real believe both parties want less smoke until the right timing. Give Goodman that statement to squash it. Then when the timing is right, Goodman gets to break the news which would massively boost his profile IMO. Again I don’t buy the theory but there is a straightforward enough answer.
