Indiana has already vetted him, the last coaching search, that's been covered by Chris007 here, Rabby, and just about anyone. Indiana found out they don't like what's behind the curtain. Doesn't make sense I don’t buy the smoke screen theories, but I think there’s a simple enough answer for the people who do. People who think the smoke screen theory is real believe both parties want less smoke until the right timing. Give Goodman that statement to squash it. Then when the timing is right, Goodman gets to break the news which would massively boost his profile IMO. Again I don’t buy the theory but there is a straightforward enough answer.
