Chris said he saw the flights after they happened (which is why I’m asking if he still has the links) and IsaacTor mentioned the same thing a couple days ago saying the flights were 3 weeks ago. The way I see it, is that IU doesn’t have anything to lose. We are at the absolute rock bottom, when you consider our history and where we are now. We’ve won 5 titles, haven’t won one in nearly 40 years, and have no legitimate reasons to believe we will be able to compete for one in the next 2-5 years….. or beyond… unless this hire is absolutely nailed. If we hire a guy that’s is clearly below Beards level, than I personally don’t know that I’ll be able to give much more attention and support to the program. It will be officially dead to me.
