I am with you. Sports, especially college basketball are my getaway from the real world. I just want to win. I could care less about a coaches personal life if they are locked into the program. If that makes me a bad guy, oh well.

Stevens isn’t quoted mentioning IU or its job. And never said the words being attributed to him. He was quoted as saying he enjoys working for the Celtics. Goodman is spinning the rest.

So someone would have been able to confirm goodmans “scoop”.

The fact nobody has done so yet is telling.

Also the fact that nothing has come out from any legitimate reporters about coaches possibly interviewing.

Maybe Goodman was told to spin it that way by a friend that wanted him to keep it all a secret so he wouldn't get asked anymore. 

It may not be that way, but it could be. 

The good part is that the coach season is only on feb, lots of time left up ahead
