Certainly better than our last two coaches by a significant amount. ****, my dog is too. No reason to talk about my dog though. I still think we're focusing on the wrong things in this search. Find the best candidate regardless of Midwest ties. And eliminate Cronin RoadRage, KNOBYDOX and Alford Bailey 3

Stevens momentum definitely appeared real and dominated action but it seemed May, Cronin and the D2 guys had some healthy discussions. Bread, and I wish it weren’t so, has some things in his past that seem non starters for some. darB s'tI Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I need to figure out how to start a thread with the people I believe/trust and weed out some of the stragglers, trolls and pessimists. thebigweave 1
Unexpectedflash Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I did some more digging into McCollum and decided to look at his D2 teams 3 point attempts. In his last 3 title winning teams they averaged at least 25 3s a game and shot around 40% behind the arc. That was honestly my biggest concern with him but if we are guaranteed that volume of attempts from 3 even with the slow pace I would be perfectly happy with him. HoosierInParadise Posted February 15 Posted February 15 You have to acknowledge that Dolson has not said a word, nor has he hinted, intimated or suggested that he was doing the Stevens dance... all of the reporting is from the insiders that may or may not be getting factual information, and from the flight trackers, dreamers and insider wannabes... I'm not saying that Dolson hasn't been in contact with Stevens or his representatives, but it's not like Dolson is standing outside his bedroom window holding a boombox over his head blaring love songs and pining for Stevens to give him the time of day.Maybe he should go the boom box route....wouldn't hurt...

Tired of trolls making up lies about Brad Stevens. 10 hours ago, Truthhurts said: It’s 100% BS. If you’re still buying this crap at this point, it’s on you. Several years and tens of millions into his tenure with Boston, Brad was still driving a Mazda. This isn’t a guy who can be bought, and it’s certainly not a guy who will make a decision based on 9.2M vs 10M. Thanks for all your contributions the last couple of days because you both have added so much. But I do have a question for both of you. pumpfake Posted February 15 Posted February 15 True to every other coach search we have: - Infighting about our resident insiders. - An influx of new posters with hostile attitudes - Lines drawn, PRO & CON, about a dozen or so possibilities - Radio Silence from the AD - Disappointment, woe, and smugness After weeks of this, a new coach will be announced. There will be jubilation from many, angst from others. Then acceptance. Then the portal lottery will be the attention grabber. We will win the portal and spend months predicting our success. Then season begins, hopefully with positive results for a change. Hoosier DaDa, RoadRage, thebigweave and 1 other 3 1

He seems like a guy that adapts to his personnel. The dude is a tactician and I can’t imagine he doesn’t understand analytics or modern basketball. Guys on his team that are good shooters don’t pass up open looks and it’s probably drilled into guys that aren’t that great from that range there’s a better shot within the flow of the offense. I will support whoever the new hire is but I am getting a sick feeling it will be some b grade name. We need a big name or bust! Reason I believe the Steven's hype was because I was praying dolson passed on may to get stevens this year! I was hoping he wasn't that dumb! I am cooled some on may now because I have seen him at michigan! He is good and has been impressive so far but also not elite. I know way to small of sample to base anything on. I am really just saying if he leaves already and comes here and fails him and iu look like major clowns imo Sent from my SM-S926U using Tapatalk The thing is who is considered elite is not going to leave their current job. Last year UK and UL tried to get those elite coaches and were turned down. They got what people would say was a B name candidate and they are doing fine. BGleas 1
