It just read as a generally classy post from one coach to another— it’s a community, it’s the right thing to say, and honestly does a reporter expect anything else? Cronin rubs people wrong for his sideline stuff and pos t-game press conferences, but talking about a fellow coach? Classy response and really no reason to think he’d say anything differently

But Stevens to IU does apparently? This is the double standard that has developed on this board lately that has caused division.

Free world, free board, Pearl, Beard, Stevens, May etc etc should all be open for discussion, not just one non candidate

I think it’s authentic. Goodman is the kind of “journalist” who spends time going around in DMs with random people. Sometimes he likes to threaten them with jail time in smug ways for things that are not crimes. Lol. He’s a tool, plain and simple

People should honestly start a “no stevens talk coaching candidate thread” that way the people who don’t want to see Stevens stuff can more easily sift through it than reading this thread. It’s annoying when people try to police other posters (not saying you’re doing that)

Spot on.  One of the worst things about Woody's program is it managed to produce the pro-Woody and/or hate the IU fanbase burner accounts.  It's a new thing that popped up the past few years as we've all noticed.  I can't remember anything like it over the past 20 years.

Now they have infested this board -- they love any bad news as it relates to this hiring process since it fits their narrative.
