Assume a guy like Brad Stevens has a team of representatives. I’ll be literally shocked (and thrilled) if we have a definitive announcement before the season is over… don’t think it’s likely to become official until mid March. Glad the vibe is positive right now, hopefully material good news. Need Scott to make sure nobody drops the ball celebrating before we actually walk/dance into the endzone. 
If it is actually stevens I can see it coming out soon. I think it would have only positive effect on the rest of this season. I doubt it happens though

Probably so — still think someone could tell us an executive session is happening or scheduled, or we could get a little more from a source with different connections, but I do wonder if it’s all happening (TM @JerryYeagley23 that it might come out reasonably quickly.

Yea, once he officially signs I don’t see how IU or the Celtics keep it under wraps enough that it wouldnt need to be addressed nationally in short order. A couple days at most. Too many people could talk and hijack the narrative which NO ONE would allow.

I mean the Cs won’t necessarily know? And if there’s a signed agreement you don’t need to keep it under wraps, both because it would eventually be eligible for FOIA since IU is public, and because you have no reason to hide it. You can just say you’ve agreed in principle to make him coach after Woody and hold the presser after the season.
