I have zero clue who Pankowski is but he is staff...take it for what it's worth.

And then four years from now IU will wonder why we’re firing our coach because he couldn’t win. I hate our administration so much.

If we go a little dirty now like a lot of other schools the NCAA won’t catch and punish us till 2040 at the earliest...worth the risk.

Sorry can someone fill me in about what makes Oats “unclean”? I know the answers to the others but have not seen that about him. With him I always thought it was the giant buyout that was the nonstarter.

Agree. It's just what this 247 staffer said. He mentioned his name with Beard, Drew and Pitino as dirty.

I’ve been saying this for years. Crean, said this in his words. It’s really disappointing, and gives me little faith in our future.

The ones people think are clean, usually aren’t either. NCAA doesn’t even care so long as you don’t self report or embarrass them.

It’s truly the most frustrating thing I know about in college athletics. Why do we refuse to compete on a level playing field in basketball? We refuse to play it dirty. We refuse to hire good coaches because they’re ‘dirty’. And then the administration expects to win with inferior coaches who are clean. It’s a recipe for disaster. I’m sick and tired of watching other programs cheat their a**** off and reap their rewards while our program is a national laughing stock.

The people at IU that have this holier than thou smugness need to stop. Beard is the best coach available after stevens period. I get that you don’t want a dirty program. But look at UK. Look at Duke, look at Kansas, Arizona, if you want to be at that level you have to operate in a grey zone. Also would he need to be as dirty at IU vs TT?
