I wish people would hold someone like Stuhoo accountable like they do us when he guarantees it’s not Stevens. I haven’t guaranteed a single coach yet.
Stuhoo didn't guarantee it's not stevens. He said he has credible information saying it's probably not. We have bigger fish to fry now that we are getting brownwell.

Before he goes about .500 in conference and misses the tournament more often than not.

Woodson makes the tourney more often than Brownell. But it’s not going to be Brownell.

All the logic is with Bozich here as much as we don’t like to hear it.

Literally he was the worst name linked to this job from the start.  Why on earth would we hire this guy when we could have easily hired Cronin instead.

It would be really surprising if Dolson wasn’t able to take the temperature on someone like Brownell and made that hire. I mean there is literally no one out there touting him as a good coach, no one looking at him for other jobs, and anytime his name is mentioned anywhere, it’s met with disgust.

Would be incredibly tone deaf.

I’m not saying it’s logical from the fans perspective. But it’s very logical from IU’s perspective.

And the problem is that Scott Dolson was hired as AD and has worked at IU for decades. I honestly had hoped that IU would hire someone to replace Glass who came from outside of the university.

I know Glass was an external candidate, but he had no previous AD experience. I wanted Jurich or someone who had experience hiring good coaches.

Instead, we have a guy who has years of experience in a department who has made so many bad decisions in the basketball program. Why would we expect any kind of better results.

If he makes another bad choice, he's either incompetent or weak. Everyone lets him off the hook for Woodson, but why? It just shows that he was weak or thought it was a good idea. Either answer is bad.

IU needed a strong AD candidate from outside. But, the IU admin would've viewed that as a threat, hence why they hired a guy who they see as a lapdog.

IMO it wouldn’t have been easy necessarily. Buyout and plenty of people saying he wouldn’t necessarily want IU anyway. This hire seems likely to be a big wake up call for half the fanbase one way or another about how good or not this job actually is. I’d love to be wrong.
