My biggest concern regarding this search is how Scott referred to Woody as a “homerun hire”.  I just hope that was marketing spin and overcompensating for a crap hire versus actually believing those words.

Seriously....if he's not Iowa's #1 why should he be IU's?

In fairness, does anyone actually believe McCollum was our first choice?  If we are pursuing McCollum, it is because we struck out with at least 4-5 other options.

NC State will end up hiring Will Wade and then we’ll be gaslight into believing that whatever mediocre hire Dolson ends up making was the best we could do. Good coaches are out there. IU just won’t get the hell over itself and hire them.
