Prior to seeing his name mentioned on here, I would never think of the Clemson head coach. You can argue Pearl on the A list, maybe even Dusty and Beard for making a title game too.

He swung and missed with Woodson. With this new hire, it’s his career legacy on the line. He bought himself some extra years with Curt, but that could flame out for all we know.
 

Pretty much sums it up. Woodson was hired by dolson regardless of if it was forced or not. It was on his watch.

@Chris007 is 100% not a troll. Come on. Dude is in every game thread and everywhere else posting with us. I believe he hears stuff and then shares what he hears. Is it always accurate? No. Is it sometimes accurate? Yes. 2 names are examples of him hearing some accurate info come to mind, if you were around at that time, Cliff Marshall and Brandon Johns. I appreciate Chris as a poster not an insider. His posts are funny and genuinely from a die hard IU fan. Now as to everyone else? No freaking clue but there are people that sure like positive affirmation a little too much imo.

A question for the group. Matthieu Ricard, a French Buddhist monk, is generally considered the “happiest person on earth.” If he attended a dinner party with Hornsby, Scotty R, and AH1971, what would happen? My guess is he’d be chugging cyanide inside 10 minutes.

I am a very happy and content person and I am not negative. Just because I don't believe the rumors about Stevens does not make me a miserable person

Here's where my head is currently at, as far as semi realistic options that I'd really be behind.:

1. McCollum- I have a feeling we'd regret not hiring him. By all accounts he is a basketball wizard, young enough, and he just wins ( Google him).. The next Bruce Pearl 

2. Pat Kelsey- Another young guy that I think would light a spark with the fan base, students, and players immediately. By all accounts he knows ball and how to win. Not sure he'd leave UL but I'd hope we'd go all out and have a chance. 

3. Todd Golden- What he has done at Florida is VERY impressive. He would do amazing at IU. 

4. Bucky McMillan- Bucky Ball. IYKYK. Would be fun as hell. 

Obviously by looking at my list I would like a young winner that understands today's game and could be with us for a long time. I want someone that builds their own legacy with us. Our guy...I'd choose that over realistic,solid options that we already have watched coach P5 teams (Buzz Williams, Mick Cronin, Chris Beard, McDermott, etc.)- We all know what we're getting with those guys, which is a solid coach. I'd rather gamble for greatness, jmo.
